Inside pop-up card using Hello Bluebird stamps

Today I decided to try making an inside pop-up card for the first time, using my cute Hello Bluebird ‘Moose and Friends’ stamp set. I selected the images I wanted and coloured them using mostly copic markers and a few spectrum noir markers for the badgers.

I actually ended up colouring the other skunk as well.

I created a sky panel from a stitched rectangle and a grass panel, using my MFT grassy hillside dienamics. I coloured these using distress inks - peacock feathers and salty ocean for the sky and mowed lawn for the grass. I sprayed them with a little water to add some texture.

I attached the sky panel to the inside flap of the card, then attached the grass panel using some card strips that I formed into squares to create the ‘pop-up’ mechanism.

I attached my coloured images to the grass to make my scene and stamped a sentiment in the upper left corner.

Finally, I used the ‘hooray’ ballon stamp and one of the skunks, to decorate the front of the card. I attached these to an MFT stitched mini scallop rectangle stax panel I had cut from Lawn Fawn ‘Gotta have Gingham’ paper. I added some stings for the ballons using black pen.

I hope you enjoy this card - I’ll be making more pop-up cards in the future.
