Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 44 - Happy Little Critters

Hi everyone. Today I made a card as an entry to the Lawn Fawnatics challenge. This time the theme is ‘Happy Little Critters’, so I decided it was the perfect time to use a stamp set I’ve had for a while, but not used much. I chose ‘Flamingo Together’ combined with the palm tree from ‘Life is Good’, to make a Valentines shaker card.

I stamped the images in Memento ‘tuxedo black’ ink, onto Neenah Classic Crest card, and coloured them using my Spectrum Noir markers. I fussy cut the flamingos and used the coordinating die on the palm trees. I then took a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock and cut a stitched rectangle panel, slightly smaller than a regular sized card base.

I used a combination of Distress Ink and Lawn Fawn ink to colour the panel, masking off the sand and sea and using the MFT Sun Ray stencil on the upper portion. I then used the heart die from Lawn Fawns Magic Color Slider dies to cut the heart shape from the panel.

Finally, I adhered the images to the panel and added a piece of clear acetate to the back of the heart, secured with strong, double sided adhesive. I used some Neat and Tangled sequins for the shaker element and attached the card front to the base using foam adhesive.
I hope you enjoy!
